Dr. Scott Gray owns and founded Back In Motion Physical Therapy & Performance and is a physical therapist at the Fort Myers Physical Therapy Clinic. He is a published author of two best-selling books on Amazon and an international presenter on the topics of physical therapy. He is the inventor of a renowned treatment called the Gray Method™. In addition to the clinic in Ft. Myers, he is the lead sports physical therapist for the Mountain Dew Tour and the Canterbury School in Fort Myers. You can see this on NBC Sports where he works with the world’s best Olympic and Professional athletes.
Dr. Gray is a double fellowship trained physical therapist in having gone through the rigours didactic process of achieving his Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS). He uses an eclectic approach to treating his patients. At this time, he only works and takes on the most serious and complex cases. To be considered, you must apply to be his patient.
Dr. Anthony is from Wayne, NJ and earned his Bachelor’s in Sociology (2017) and Bachelor’s in Exercise Science (2018) from the University of Scranton. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (2021) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences – Miami campus. Dr. Anthony is a manual physical therapist that uses a combination of spinal manipulation, joint mobilization, as well as exercise to get his patients better. He also is certified in dry needling .
Anthony originally wanted to be a Physical Therapist in his junior year of high school when he took his first Anatomy & Physiology class, becoming fascinated by this area of science. As a former collegiate athlete, he has an appreciation for what the human body can do at a high level, as well as understands how an injury or pain can affect everyday life. To further gain knowledge about exercise and human movement, he earned his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification prior to starting Physical Therapy school.
